Job Description

We are seeking a contract-to-hire UI Designer to support our team in developing the interface and player experience . You'll translate design concepts, game mechanics, and AI-driven features into intuitive, engaging, and visually polished screens. You'll collaborate with game designers, engineers, and artists to ensure every interaction feels seamless, accessible, and fun.

This role will be contract-to-hire, starting at 40 hours per week for 90 days, at which point we can mutually assess fit and the team's needs going forward.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing user interfaces for mobile gameplay, menus, HUDs, and onboarding flows
• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and final production assets for iOS and Android
• Collaborating with game designers to integrate AI-driven features in a player-friendly way
• Establishing and maintaining a consistent visual language and design system
• Conducting quick usability checks and iterating based on feedback and data
• Delivering pixel-perfect assets and documentation for implementation by engineers

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of UI/UX design experience, ideally in mobile games or apps
• Strong portfolio showcasing mobile UI design and interactive prototypes
• Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop/Illustrator)
• Understanding of game UI conventions, accessibility, and usability best practices
• Ability to move fast, iterate, and adjust in a startup-like environment
• Bonus: Experience with animation/motion graphics, or AI-driven design
