Position Title: Materials Manager Department: Purchasing
Status: Full-Time / Exempt Reporting Manager: Purchasing Manager

Major Responsibilities/Activities:
• Receive for fabrication drawing in Tekla.
• Process drawing into lots for shop use.
• Assign shop routing.
• Separate detail material for shop processing or outside processing.
• Apply cutting to all main materials.
• Handle all changes to drawings and cutting.
• Maintain the Tekla EPM inventory model.
• Directs the day-to-day tasks of the Material Coordinator.

Physical Requirements:
• This position is primarily sedentary. There will be some walking within the shop and office at 
times.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Minimal lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Required Skills:
• Ability to read and interrupt construction drawings
• Tekla EPM
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Education Requirement:
• 3 – 5 years of construction industry experience will be a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
