Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work  ON-SITE with our client in Cypress, CA . Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Working to machine dimensions and maintain close tolerances and correlated dimensions with a high demand for precision, concentricity, finish, and parallelism.
• Selecting speeds and feeds according to the type of material and finish requirements
• Utilizing methods used to hold and fixture work using shims, wedges, parallels, blocks, supports, chucks, and other holding devices to obtain proper alignment and to avoid the movement or breaking of tools and parts.
• Using a variety of precision measuring instruments, inspecting in-process or finished parts to validate the above-mentioned form and feature characteristics, as well as manufacturing methods to blueprint specifications.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $ 26.52 /hr

Hours: 40 hrs / Week (2 nd shift)

Length: Temporary (12 months)

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a machine shop, including operating mills and lathes.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of operating precision tools, machining methods, and cutting qualities of metals
• Experience with manual and CNC operation on a variety of mills, lathes, grinders, and coordinate measuring machines.
• Minimum 2 years of machining experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Trade school technical certificate
• Haas CNC vertical machining center
• Bridgeport mill
• Engine lathe
• Surface grinder
• Cylindrical grinder
• Common bench grinders
• Belt sanders.
• Bandsaw
• Tile saw.
• Ultrasonic parts cleaner

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

• Ability to lift various items weighing up to approximately 40 pounds, work overtime, and any shift as needed.
