Job Description
Responsibilities:
Preparing beverages in accordance with predefined recipes and standards; Providing professional beverage service in bar, lounge, restaurant,and/or on the sun deck; Responsible for the hygiene in the bar, lounge, and pantry area; Responsible for ordering and stock control together with Restaurant Manager; Efficient usage of cash register and careful bookkeeping; Any other duties as advised by Restaurant Manager/Hotel Manager;
Skills/Qualifications:
Hotel school diplomaor basic education equivalent is preferred; Minimum two years of experience in the field of desired position, preferably ina 4 or 5 star restaurant and/or hotel; Cruise ship experience is a plus; Excellent communication skills; Willingness to learn and progress; Fluency in English;
Responsibilities for Waiter:
Accountable to Restaurant Manager; Providing professional food and beverage service for approximately 20 to 24 persons in restaurant and lounge area; Responsible for hygiene of dining room area; Good knowledge and understanding of bar and restaurant menus; Any other duties advised by Restaurant Manager/Hotel Manager;

We offer :
Monthly basic salary transferred to a bank account of choice; Tip equally shared through all crew members, average of 500-600 Euro per month; Vacation days: every month you will earn vacation days on cumulative basis, after 3-4 month you will go on vacation for 14-42 days, in average employee goes on vacation two times during the season, in addition January and February are usually unpaid vacation; Insurance – employee will receive private health insurance throughout the contract, accident and death and permanent and total disability, salary continuation is paid after sick leave longer than 42 days; Child insurance; Length of the contract: +(-) 9 months, contract is seasonal; Travel expenses policy: we are refunding a maximum amount of 400 EUR - for first joining and end of the season travel, after regular completion of contract. Employee has to arrange the travel on his/her own and needs to submit a travel expense report with original receipts for reimbursement; Double accommodation and food included free of charge; Training period - while training period crew member is not entitled in tip; Please note that all contracts issued are Maltese seafarer contracts;
