The role

ATP Flight School is expanding and is seeking a talented and energetic Aviation Ground School Instructor to conduct our Certified Flight Instructor Initial Virtual Ground School Course. This instructor will be joining ATP's Elevate Virtual Ground School Team. The candidate must have a suitable location with high-speed internet to provide professional virtual instruction. Having a teaching studio with proper equipment is a plus. The candidate must be very familiar and comfortable using technology. Lessons provided in a virtual format require that the applicant present with high energy and involve the students interactively. There is no opportunity for flight time with this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide ground instruction in a virtual classroom setting 
• Engage individual students in a virtual classroom environment
• Follow approved training curriculum and ensure students are trained to the highest standards
• Maintain student records and keep Elevate management team informed of student progress

Qualifications

• Certificated Flight Instructor or Advanced Ground Instructor certificate required. Must meet 14 CFR 61.195 (h) to teach initial CFI applicants. 
• FAA medical not required
• Excellent teaching, stage presence, and communication skills required
• Technological fluency required
• Aviation College Degree preferred
• NAFI Master or Ground Instructor preferred
• ATP Alumni encouraged to apply
