Responsibilities:
- Understand, meet, and exceed company quality standards for garment production.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot sewing machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize computer-aided design software to create patterns and make adjustments to garments as necessary.
- Create, maintain, and update garment production schedule and inventory of materials.
- Manage sewing inventory, tools, and equipment, ensuring accuracy and availability.
- Monitor and record sewing production, time, and work progress to maintain efficiency.
- Approve garment production and maintain quality records, reviewing results with supervisors as needed.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time and maintain focus on detailed tasks.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination for precise sewing and pattern adjustments.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing production demands.
- Proficiency in reading and speaking English.
- Previous experience in sewing or garment production is preferred but not required.
