Job Description

The YES Network, the #1 Regional Sports Network in the country, seeks a Sr. Director, Digital Media based in Stamford, Conn. This position is responsible for overseeing the content across all of YES Network's digital platforms, including YESNetwork.com, social platforms, YouTube and the YES App.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute digital strategy across YESNetwork.com, the YES App, social media, and e-mail marketing
• Manage day-to-day content operations of the YES App, including daily vendor meetings (stream scheduling, app updates, maintenance, new features…)
• Coordinate digital initiatives with team partners (content creation and amplification, marketing, manage team sensitivities …)
• Create weekly, monthly and season-long content calendars
• Oversee digital content team and freelance pool
• Work with YES talent on various content initiatives
• Manage relationships and deliverables with outside creative digital content agencies
• Manage day-to-day content with partners at MLB.com
• Manage execution and reporting of all sales campaigns
• Schedule game assignments for app, social media and graphics
• Manage marketing/tune-in for each broadcast
• Track YESNetwork.com and social media analytics
• Manage the collection and usage of the YES database
• Manage dissemination of weekly newsletter
• Coordinate digital promotion with various departments (Communications, Production, Sales, Affiliate, Graphics, Editors, Research, Sales, Promos)
• Cultivate and manage Influencer relationships

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.A/B.S in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications
• 10+ years experience with digital development
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, CMSs, Adobe Analytics and Falcon
• Self-starter with demonstrated initiative
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Passion for and knowledge of sports is a plus
