As part of our continuous effort to innovate and create thrilling experiences, Triiodide Studios is looking for passionate volunteers to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team for our next-gen horror title, Backrooms: Escape Together. This game is being developed with Unreal Engine 5 and aims to redefine the indie horror scene with countless levels, non-linear progression, and life-like visual quality.

As a Volunteer QA Tester, you'll have the opportunity to play an integral role in shaping the development of upcoming updates. This position is ideal for those seeking to gain valuable experience in the gaming industry, particularly in the field of QA. Strict confidentiality must be maintained about prerelease content and the development process.

Responsibilities:

• Playing through alpha builds of Backrooms: Escape Together to test gameplay, find bugs, and suggest improvements.
• Providing detailed and structured feedback to the development team.
• Identifying and reporting bugs using our issue-tracking system.
• Participating in QA meetings and discussions.
• Keeping all work strictly confidential.

Required Qualifications:

• Passion for video games, particularly in the horror genre.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic understanding of game design principles and player psychology.
• Demonstrable problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently as well as in a team setting.
• A personal computer capable of running UE5 games.
• Access to stable, high-speed internet.

Nice to Haves:

• Prior experience in game testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems.
• A love for the Backrooms mythos.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5.
