Registered Nurse – Clinical Documentation Improvement Educator

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a background in clinical education and CDI.
• At least 3 years of experience in healthcare documentation or case management.
• Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) preferred.
• Experience developing and delivering training materials for clinical teams.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, coding practices, and compliance regulations.

Duties:

• Develop and deliver CDI training programs for healthcare providers.
• Educate physicians and nurses on accurate and complete documentation.
• Work closely with coding teams to ensure proper classification of diagnoses.
• Assist in the development of CDI policies and best practices.
• Conduct documentation audits and provide feedback for improvement.
• Monitor industry trends and update training materials accordingly.

Pay:

• Medium weekly pay range: $2,200 - $2,700
