About the Role

We’re hiring a Project Accountant to keep project financials accurate, timely, and clearly communicated. You’ll own budgets, billing, and reporting to help teams stay on scope, schedule, and cost.

What You’ll Do

• Track project costs and budgets; monitor variances and communicate impacts of changes.
• Manage billing: review drafts for contract compliance, process finals, submit in client formats, and follow up on receivables.
• Produce project performance reports; set up new projects & change orders; support close-out.
• Support expense report compliance and coordinate with the Controller and Business Services Group.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 3+ years accounting (project-based construction/engineering preferred).
• Strong GAAP and job-cost accounting knowledge; detail orientation and problem-solving.
• Proficiency with project accounting software ( Deltek preferred ) and Microsoft Office, clear written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative style—comfortable working across disciplines and with clients.
