Description

Excel Engineering, Inc. is seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated individual for a full-time Power Plant Project Manager. This is for our power utility client in Denver, CO.

Plant-based engineering role to support client's supply projects group to help manage capital projects at the Pawnee generating facility in Brush, CO.

• Manage all emergent capital projects at the plant as well as supporting larger base and major capital projects strictly for the Pawnee/Manichee facility.
• Support reliability engineering in helping develop scopes and justifications for projects and putting those through the client's emergent capital request system/process and would be responsible for managing all the projects.
• Responsible for upwards of 20 small projects going on at one time in addition to supporting some of the larger base capital projects.
• Brush, CO is about 1.5 hours NE of the Denver, CO metro area (next to FT. Morgan).

Requirements

• Engineering Degree (mechanical/electrical/civil).
• 10+ years of engineering and project management experience.
• SAP experience.
• Has passed fundamentals of engineering exam.
• Previous contractor management experience.
• Previous budget management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
