Be part of our talented Food and Beverage team as Pool Restaurant Server at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort and Spa. Located in Greater Palm Springs, Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa is completing a property-wide renovation and upbranding from Regency to Grand. Set to debut in the spring of 2024, Grand Hyatt will feature 531 newly transformed luxury guestrooms, suites, casita-style villas, and two brand new Celebrity Chef (Angelo Sosa) food & beverage venues. Set within the perfect backdrop of scenic Indian Wells, this property will be a destination favorite as it is positioned to take hospitality to a new level in the destination.

Restaurant Pool Servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences.  The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings.  A Hyatt restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes.  Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment. 

The hourly pay-rate for this position is $16.00 with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips.

Qualifications

• Riverside County Food handler's License
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight and walk long distances.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
• Previous experience highly desired.
