Torii Mor is looking for someone who is excited to enjoy our iconic hilltop vista and share our pioneering Dundee Hills vineyard story! The right candidate will show an eagerness to provide excellent hospitality. The position centers on assisting with presentation and sales of Torii Mor wine through the process of hosting wine tastings in our Dundee Hills location. This is a multi-faceted position that requires good presentation, initiative, high energy and excellent communication skills. Wine industry experience preferred.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Torii Mor Tasting Room Associate provides excellent hospitality with wine tasting presentations, sales and wine club promotion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In General:
Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
Present wines in a professional, hospitable, and knowledgeable manner.
Exhibit outstanding presentation, sales, and positive customer service skills.
Represent Torii Mor Winery and all products with professionalism, enthusiasm, and detailed knowledge.
Share the story of the Willamette Valley, the history of Torii Mor Wines, winemaking, grape growing, vintages, and products available.
Actively promote sales and wine club memberships in order to secure brand loyalty and retention.

Tasting Room Specifics:
Uphold visual standards of the tasting room. Ensure tasting rooms and decks are clean and orderly throughout the shift. This includes cleaning and buffing glasses, resetting tables and other tasks to timely be ready for incoming guests. Restocking supplies, packing and carry wine orders for guests. Operate the POS (Point of Sale software) system accurately and efficiently to process orders. Maintain flexibility and ability to work weekends, and some holidays, as needed during peak tourism season. Participate, as needed, in staff meetings, tastings, and educational experiences.

The tasting room will be open generally from 11am to 5pm, 7 days a week, but daily schedule will vary based on activities and events.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Minimum six (6) months' wine industry or hospitality experience preferred.
Minimum two (2) years restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
OLCC Server’s Permit & Food Handler’s certificate is required.
