The Dept. of World Languages and Cultures at Ohio Wesleyan University is looking for a part-time instructor in Classical Studies to teach two courses in the spring semester of 2026: LATIN 111 (second semester Latin) and CLAS 122 (Classical Mythology). The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Classics or a related field. Doctoral candidates will also be considered. Some experience teaching Latin and Classics courses at the undergraduate level is expected.
At Ohio Wesleyan, a residential liberal arts institution, all classes are taught in an in-person, face-to-face setting. We do not offer online courses during spring and fall semesters.
Pay is $5,000 per course.
