We have a phenomenal SLP-A opportunity at one of our partner school districts in Albany Oregon . This position is in-person and full-time . Primarily working with elementary school aged kids. The team at this school district is collaborative and student-focused, with flexible administration who supports clinicians.

We are looking for SLPAs who:

• are proactive about their own needs and the needs of their students

• possess a variety of clinical competencies sand the drive to continually learn and improve

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in various settings such as classrooms, therapy rooms, or other educational environments
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure consistency and effectiveness of therapy interventions
• Conduct activities and exercise designed to improve speech, language, and communication skills, under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participation in therapy sessions
• Assist in preparation and organization of therapy materials and resources
• Follow all relevant legal and ethical guidelines in the provision of speech-language pathology services within the school setting

Requirements:

• State SLPA License in good standing
• Prior School or Pediatric experience is helpful
