ASGCO engineers, manufactures and distributes a wide array of conveyor and screening components, all specifically designed for the above-ground and underground mining, aggregate, cement, recycling, bulk shipping terminals, pulp and paper, food processing and other bulk material handling industries. We focus on providing exceptional products and service to our customers with the best solutions to their conveyor and screening material handling applications.

ASGCO has a Utility/General Shop Technician opening for a candidate with a great positive attitude who excels at working in a team environment which helps drive the business. Responsibilities:

• Make daily deliveries to our main location, suppliers and customers.
• Maintain vehicle Preventative Maintenance. Check fluids and keep clean.
• Keep the inventory of pallets organized and notify management of shortages.
• When not making deliveries the candidate will operate metal working machines, band saws, and blasting and load CNC machines.
• Sandblasting
• Powder Coating (painting skills a plus)
• Load and operate machines as required

Requirements:

• Must have a clean driving record.
• Adhere to a full background check
• Must be able to read a tape measure, calipers, and work from basic drawings or cutting lists.
• Have knowledge of basic math.
• Fabrication background preferred.
• Driving – making deliveries between ASGCO facilities, customers and suppliers in company vehicles

Working Conditions:

• Frequently exposed to regulated noise, cold working conditions also exposed to smells that are within the guidelines.
• May be required to work overtime on as needed bases.
