Job Description

Control Risks is seeking a highly qualified Intelligence Analyst to enhance our team's capabilities in providing comprehensive risk analysis to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into domestic and international threats, analyzing complex datasets, and generating actionable intelligence to support our clients' security frameworks.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Produce intelligence products such as threat assessments, red flag reports, and strategic briefings to support the client’s global operations.
  • Monitor and analyze developments in political, economic, and security environments that may impact the client’s business interests.
  • Define priorities for in-depth analysis of selected locations relevant to client’s global interests
  • Lead or collaborate on production of in-depth analytical products and requests for information (RFIs) for broad stakeholder audiences
  • Assist in the development of internal processes, templates, and SOPs to support the maturing intelligence function.
  • Work closely with the clients protective intelligence and supply chain functions to understand their intelligence needs and provide support.
  • Monitor social media on a regular basis for threats and security-related intelligence with regard to risks to client
  • Lead production of specific briefings or presentations
  • Provide location-specific intelligence, including active and archived alerts; city and country intelligence; and interactive maps
  • Provide email notifications of threats based on geographies
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as international relations, political science, security studies, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in intelligence analysis, risk management, or a similar role within a corporate or government context.
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing OSINT methodologies and analytical tools.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into coherent reports and presentations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a particular emphasis on producing high-quality documentation.
  • Proficiency with applicable software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and intelligence analysis platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills, with an aptitude for managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of security operations and a keen understanding of geopolitical developments.
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning collaboratively within a team.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-100,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
