Every day, you’ll make a difference by:

• Building meaningful relationships with clients through conversation and companionship
• Assisting with activities of daily living such as dressing, walking, and personal hygiene
• Supporting light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Engaging clients in hobbies and recreational activities such as games, gardening, or crafts
• Observing and reporting any changes in client condition to the care team
• Accompanying clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and community outings

Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have a genuine heart for caregiving and a commitment to reliability. Additional requirements include:

Must be at least 18 years old * Current HCA or CNA certification preferred * At least one year of caregiving experience preferred * A valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a clean driving record * At least two satisfactory references from previous employers * Ability to read and follow written instructions and document in English using a mobile app * Successful completion of a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening About Senior Helpers – South Tacoma Senior Helpers is a leading provider of in-home, non-medical care services.
