POSITION SUMMARY

The TTC Tour Brands graphic designer role is hybrid with the expectation of being in the office twice a week at minimum. As part of the North American regional Marketing Team, this role will include creative design and art working on a variety of projects, including, but not limited to, printed materials, web banners, online content, landing pages, social media platforms, emails, sales collateral, campaign assets, animations, video, and PowerPoint presentations. The Graphic Designer will have the ability to shift focus quickly and often and adapt to various project needs. With a strong eye for image selection and composition, the Graphic Designer will be able to deliver engaging and technically accurate work constantly, either through original concepts or through leveraging existing templates. Working within various Brand Guidelines defined by the global marketing teams, it is the Graphic Designer’s responsibility to ensure all deadlines are met and that projects are delivered accurately, and on time and follow any pertinent laws and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create branded marketing assets, for regional, global, and/or the parent company’s marketing needs.
  • Assist in developing new design concepts, layouts, and treatments for 6 brands across various marketing channels.
  • Assist Campaign Team with digital assets when needed (flex designer)
  • Prepare creative concepts and present ideas to the marketing team.
  • Image source for a high volume of collateral, ensuring they adhere to audience, brief, and brand.
  • Production and pre-press production for print materials such as ads, brochures, direct mailers, posters, banners, etc.
  • Photo editing, color correction, and image manipulation
  • Edit video content (from scratch or pick-ups)
  • Create animated/motion graphic content.
  • Create PowerPoint templates for various purposes.
  • Use PMS and CMS systems to manage workloads and priorities.
  • Multitask and prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
  • Consistently proof copy, images, and styling so assets are on brand, accurate, and delivered on time
  • Create and export files in various formats, for various channels ensuring all information is accurate - from file size and type to including editable fields through Acrobat and adhering to accessibility standards etc.

COMPETENCIES

  • Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio.
  • An eye for aesthetically pleasing compositions and layouts.
  • Strong image skills – sourcing, editing, composition, and color correction.
  • Strong Typographic skills
  • Copywriting and sub-editing skills.
  • Web and Paid Social experience.
  • Understanding of video editing and animation principles and trends
  • Video editing skills, photography, and copywriting/editing skills a plus
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve in fast-paced work environments, and of taking accountability for high-quality delivery of work.
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas, fostering design thinking among the team.
  • Up to date with trends in graphic design, techniques, and software
  • Professionalism regarding time, costs, and deadlines
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task and effectively manage several projects at once.
  • A can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn new techniques.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2-4+ years’ experience in graphic design or at least 1 year in an advertising or digital agency/in-house team

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, notably InDesign, Photoshop, XD, Illustrator, and Acrobat, with experience using Premiere Pro and After Effects desired.
  • Familiar with setting up and exporting files for various formats across print, digital, and social formats such as in-feed, stories, Pmax, and Google DV 360
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Internet proficiency (HTML preferred)
  • Experience working with PMS and CMS systems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Infrequent travel may be required.
