Job Description

Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Freight Broker to join our dynamic team. As a Freight Broker, you will play a pivotal role in our supply chain operations, connecting customers with our high-quality services and ensuring efficient and cost-effective shipment management.

**Responsibilities:**

- Identify and engage potential leads through various lead sourcing tools, networking, and industry research

- Conduct thorough research to prepare for sales calls, understanding market trends and key decision makers

- Proactively make cold calls to generate leads and contribute to business growth

- Provide accurate quotes and pricing based on comprehensive market analysis

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners, negotiate competitive rates, and maintain open lines of communication

- Efficiently enter and verify load information in our proprietary TMS system

- Monitor and track shipments to ensure smooth transportation processes

- Collaborate effectively with the accounting department to address any discrepancies

- Contribute positively to the team's dynamic and foster a collaborative work environment

**Qualifications:**

- Preferred: An established book of business within the logistics industry

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service within the supply chain and logistics sector

- Strong verbal and written communication abilities

- Demonstrated sense of urgency, self-confidence, and commitment to exceptional customer service

- Enthusiasm for the logistics and supply chain domain

- Capability to work both independently and as a collaborative team player
