Job Description
The Field Technician (Sprinkler Inspector) is responsible for testing, inspecting, and repairing water-based fire protection systems and their components. You’ll ensure systems are fully functional, document any deficiencies, and provide exceptional service to customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Complete inspections and services following manufacturer instructions, codes, standards, and company policies

  • Schedule inspections and communicate with customers effectively

  • Provide detailed documentation of inspections for Eagle Fire, customers, and authorities having jurisdiction

  • Report system discrepancies and recommended repairs to Eagle Fire and the customer

  • Maintain certifications and continue education to stay current

  • Work safely at all times and stop unsafe activities when necessary

  • Perform other related duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • NICET II certification required (minimum 5 years of inspections/testing experience with water-based systems)

  • Experience reading and interpreting diagrams, blueprints, and specifications

  • Fire sprinkler service/inspection experience with manufacturer certifications preferred

  • Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Self-starter, able to work independently

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Ability to lift, crouch, push, pull, and work in confined spaces

  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and noisy environments

  • Willingness to travel monthly to Nashville, TN and Birmingham, AL ; travel will decrease as local growth continues
