We're looking for a passionate and experienced leader to join our Transactions Team and facilitate renewable energy deals between buyers and sellers. We're at the forefront of the clean energy transition, and this role offers the chance to shape the future of sustainable power. This is a remote position, and we welcome candidates from across North America who are willing to travel to Seattle, WA, as needed.
What You'll Do:
Optimize Energy Procurement: Innovate on energy procurement agreements, balancing contract risk and streamlining complex processes to efficiently connect buyers and sellers.
Lead and Mentor: Manage a team of Transaction Managers, providing mentorship, professional development, and fostering a positive and productive team environment.
Share Your Expertise: Compile data and metrics for internal and external stakeholders, clearly and concisely presenting complex procurement concepts through presentations and reports.
Build Strong Relationships: Collaborate with Customer Engagement and Sales Enablement teams to maintain accurate customer and stakeholder records.
Become a Platform Expert: Develop deep expertise in our software platform and procurement tools, providing valuable feedback for product innovation based on evolving customer needs.
Drive Product Improvement: Identify areas for platform enhancement and provide feedback on new features.
What You'll Bring:
10+ years of professional experience in renewable energy origination, project management, and/or voluntary renewable energy procurement.
5+ years of management experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
Deep experience in contracting across multiple regions in North America.
Strong understanding of renewable energy development and key differences across states and energy markets.
Demonstrated ability to discuss commodity market fundamentals.
Knowledge of North American compliance markets and Renewable Energy Certificates.
Familiarity with tax credit transfer agreements and negotiations (a plus).
Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism in customer discussions and build confidence in complex negotiations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Salesforce, project management tools (Asana, Jira, or similar).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to complete tasks on time and with a sense of urgency.
Professionalism and a commitment to driving cross-department accountability.
Fluency in English (required); other European languages are a plus.
