Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate  Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, including performing cleanings, taking X-rays, and assisting with preventive dental treatments. You will work closely with our dental team to ensure optimal oral health outcomes and provide patient education on proper dental hygiene practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and removing plaque and tartar.
• Take and develop dental X-rays to assist with diagnoses.
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to help prevent tooth decay.
• Assess and document the overall oral health of patients, including checking for gum disease and cavities.
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and oral hygiene techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
• Assist the dentist with patient exams and treatments as needed.
• Ensure the sterilization and cleanliness of dental instruments and equipment.

Requirements :

• Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene or equivalent.
• Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with dental X-ray technology and electronic health records is a plus.
