Our unique data science success model revolutionizes education & training, hiring & career services, as well as professional services. As we embark on an exciting phase of growth, we are seeking a hands-on startup Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who has strong product sense, can run a team, and is ready to get hands dirty on code.

Position Overview:

As our CTO, you will play a pivotal role in directly contributing to building the product from scratch, shaping our technology strategy, driving innovation, and leading our team of talented engineers. You will be responsible for building and scaling our platform (currently web application + mobile app in the near future), ensuring the highest standards of technical excellence, and in collaboration with our world-class data science research team, driving the development of next-generation AI products and services. Key Responsibilities:  knows the stack (e.g., .Net, C#, Java), is ready to code, has architecture vision, can be quick and dirty if required but prefers to keep the code as clean as possible, and is flexible on the resources you are able to give, loves building products.

• Hands-on problem-solving:  This is a hands-on start-up CTO position. We expect the CTO to write code and actively solve various technical problems.
• Technical Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for our technology stack, ensuring alignment with our business goals and objectives.
• Team Management: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of engineers and specialists.
• Research and Innovation: Stay at the forefront of technology advancements, fostering a culture of innovation, and leading R&D efforts to keep our solutions cutting-edge.
  
• Technical Architecture: Define and implement robust technical architectures that can scale and adapt to evolving business requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality, reliability, and security of our systems through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product management to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the technology budget, making strategic investments in infrastructure, tools, and talent.

Qualifications:

• Ready to work with product hypotheses and help to transfer them to requirements for the dev team
  
• Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience (e.g., .Net, C#, Java) with at least 2 years in technology leadership roles
• Strong record of fast & consistent product delivery in an early startup environment. 
• Experience with AI technologies implementation, or design and development of ai-based products and systems is a plus
  
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for innovation.
  
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) preferred.
• Fluent English language (C1 English (Advanced)+)
• Experience and readiness to work in a dynamic startup environment in close cooperation with product and DS teams.
• Hands-on experience in mobile dev is a plus
• Ready to organize and manage a cross-functional scrum team
