Our students advance at individualized speeds. Your role is to guide their self-discovery and help them identify their unique strengths—not to deliver pre-scripted lessons.
This position seeks high-caliber individuals ready to apply that energy toward repairing a fundamentally flawed system. You will not spend time grading assignments or adhering to rigid curricula. Instead, you'll facilitate workshops, spark genuine curiosity, and demonstrate that education becomes limitless when students take ownership of their learning journey.

What You Will Be Doing
• Serving as a mentor to K-8 students, establishing trust and cultivating a mindset without limits
• Leveraging AI and adaptive learning platforms to tailor educational pathways—students move forward at individualized rates while you facilitate their discovery process
• Creating and facilitating life-skills workshops (including public speaking, goal-setting, and collaboration) that equip students for sustained success
• Building a culture centered on curiosity, ambition, and development—supporting students as they discover their strengths and passions

Basic Requirements
Camp Counselor key responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree in any subject
• Proven public speaking abilities, with demonstrated capacity to engage and energize diverse audiences
• Genuine drive to connect with, inspire, and motivate students in grades K-8
• 3 years of experience coaching or mentoring children
• Legal authorization to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
• Availability to work in-person at one of our campus locations: Austin, TX; Brownsville, TX; Fort Worth, TX; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ
• Capacity to participate in a paid training program at our Austin, TX campus

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
