Under the direction of the Administrative and Assets Manager (Supervisor I), the Analyst II will function as the District’s IT Liaison and Facilities Coordinator within the Division's Long Beach Office (Southern District). The incumbent will perform a variety of complex analytical and administrative duties in support of the district’s business operations. The incumbent is responsible for identifying and analyzing processes to improve the operating efficiency and effectiveness including program evaluation and planning; data analysis and report formulation; process development; project management; and consultative services to Management. The incumbent must demonstrate a high degree of independence, initiative, critical thinking, and creativity.

Working Conditions

This position is located in Long Beach and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule, with employees required to work in-person at  3780 Kilroy Airport Way, Suite 400, Long Beach, CA . A t least three days of remote work and up to two days of in-office work per week is the available hybrid telework schedule for this position. Alternative work locations will not be considered.

Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview but must show proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment.
