Job Description

Master Halco , North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products is seeking an experienced Access Controls Technical Sales Associate to support our Access Control Division in Dallas.

 

This position will be responsible for building relationships and providing access control sales and technical support to our external customers and internal sales teams in the Greater Dallas/Fort Worth region.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical support with access control and gate automation products.
  • Contact potential and current customers to solicit sales of company products.
  • Present company products and pricing information in a professional manner.
  • Develop relationships with wholesale customers.
  • Grow sales and increase profitability.
  • Assist customers with system design and product recommendations.
  • Analyze specifications and drawings to determine appropriate equipment for detailed projects.
  • Maintain customer accounts by providing in-depth customer service.
  • Assist customers with technical support at installation sites.
  • Monitor inventory levels across multiple branches and provide key input regarding inventory requirements.
  • Generate purchase orders for approval.
  • Work closely with the inventory manager and team to perform analysis of our inventory and ensure we are utilizing our inventory effectively, purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solid inventory data.
  • Actively work to reduce excess, dead and slow-moving inventory.
  • Assist with part number creation, maintenance and pricing.
  • Coordinates and conducts access control training for branch employees (Inside Sales and Outside Sales Associates) and customers.
  • Provide necessary follow-up documentation and reports to management.
  • Proactively provide solutions and develop initiatives to grow access control and gate automation sales.
  • Responsible for researching, developing, and launching new products. Responds to company initiatives by driving new products to meet customer needs.
  • Process vendor RMA’s in a timely manner. 
  • Assist/manage special projects.

 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or work equivalent.
  • 5 years of sales/technical experience required.
  • In depth knowledge of target market industries.
  • Manufacturing and/or distribution experience helpful.
  • Valid Driver’s License, proof of Insurability.
  • Perimeter Access Control experience a plus.
